Finders-Keepers is a family business owned by Dewayne and Angela Smith. We are located in the beautiful Arkansas River Valley at the base of the Ozarks. We have homeschooled since 1991. This lifestyle has extended to a second generation, as our grandchildren are now also being loved, nurtured, and educated at home.

Meet the Guinea Pigs

Most of you would probably agree that homeschooling involves a certain amount of trial and error, even for those who have invested countless hours in research and planning. Christopher and Annalee are the last two Smith kids left in the nest, and they have been the victims...er, subjects...of numerous learning experiments. In our many years of homeschooling, we've tried just about every kind of curriculum available. Some were really good. Some were just okay. Others were truly awful. But every once in a while, we stumbled onto a product that was nothing short of outstanding. These are the items that are offered to our customers. They are the "keepers"

The D.I.V.E. CDs did wonders to lighten this homeschooling mom's heavy load. Shurley English breathed new life into dull, forgettable subject matter. Latina Christiana put an ancient language within the grasp of novices. WriteShop demystified the execution and evaluation of upper level writing. And Rosetta Stone's multimedia approach brought the voices of native speakers into our home to teach foreign language. We recommend these products wholeheartedly, but we've been doing this long enough to know that no curriculum is for everyone.
